Back home， grandpa has cooked my favorite dumpling. "Grandpa， why do you want to eat dumplings? Can't you eat dumplings?" Grandpa smiled and said to me， "of course you can't eat dumplings. The custom of our Southerners is to eat dumplings， which symbolizes reunion！" At this time， everyone gathered around， you and me， laughing and enjoying the delicious dumplings. The room was full of laughter.

This lantern festival also makes me understand that as long as the family gets together， it is the happiest and happiest thing in my life！

每年農歷的正月十五，春節剛過，迎來的就是中國的傳統節日——元宵節。元宵節又稱為“小正月”、“元宵式燈節”等。

正月是農歷的元月，古人稱夜為“宵”，所以稱正月十五為元宵節。正月十五日是一年中第一個月圓之夜，也是一元復始，大地回春的夜晚，人們對此加以慶喜，也是慶賀新年的延續，所以元宵節又稱為“上元節”。

按中國民間傳統，在這皓月高懸的夜晚，人們要點起彩燈萬盞，以示慶賀。出門賞月，燃燈放焰，喜猜燈謎，共吃元宵，合家團聚，同慶佳節，其樂融融。

今年元宵節我在老家度過。我不僅看到了美麗的彩燈和五光十色的焰火，還看到了幾十輛五顏六色的花車、彩車。

人群蜂涌而來，我和爸爸媽媽也擠了過去，看見一輛輛彩車從我的身邊“走過”。各式各樣的裝飾品把車子打扮得漂漂亮亮，像一個個俊俏的姑娘。

正在這時，天上響起了一聲聲”震耳欲聾的聲音。人群紛紛不約而同仰望著上空，看見焰火在我們頭上“開花”，我對媽媽說：“媽，看它們笑得多美啊！”媽媽看著我，笑了。

“過元宵嘍！”一棵棵樹都穿上了新衣服。每當人們從樹旁走過，大樹上彩燈就像一個個眼睛一閃一閃地盯著你看。一棵棵大樹間都“牽著”一條條紅線，紅線上掛著一個一個的小燈籠，小燈籠看著人們，笑紅了臉。

接著我們還去看了燈謎展。一條走廊粘滿了燈謎。大家都紛紛猜了起來。我也不閑著，到處看，“哎呀，這個怎么這么難猜呀！哎呀，這個也很難！”真是書到用時方恨少??！我暗暗地埋怨著自已。

回到了家，爺爺已經煮好了我最愛吃的湯圓。“爺爺，為什么要吃湯圓呢?吃水餃不行嗎?”爺爺笑著對我說：“當然不能吃水餃啦，我們南方人的習俗是吃湯圓，象征著團團圓圓！”這時大家都圍了過來，你一碗我一碗，一邊說笑，一邊享受著美味的湯圓。屋里充滿了笑聲……。

這個元宵節，也讓我明白了：只要家人團團圓圓在一起，那才是一生中最快樂、最幸福的事！
